Dr. Eric Brownlee joined Cascade Veterinary Clinics in 2014 and brings a calm, focused presence to even the most urgent of cases. A graduate of the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, his passion for science, medicine, and meaningful problem-solving led him into a veterinary career where no two days are the same.
Originally from Wenatchee, Dr. Brownlee and his wife returned to Central Washington after several years abroad to raise their family in the community they love. When not in the clinic, he enjoys the region’s year-round outdoor opportunities—from skiing and golfing to paddleboarding and hiking.
Dr. Brownlee thrives in urgent care and emergency cases, where his ability to think critically and act decisively helps pets and their families navigate high-stress situations. He particularly enjoys managing trauma cases, toxin ingestions, and acute abdominal emergencies—scenarios where clarity and fast action are key to positive outcomes.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and regularly completes continuing education in emergency and urgent care protocols. Within Cascade, Dr. Brownlee also mentors new veterinarians and veterinary assistants, helping guide best practices in real-time clinical decision-making.
Outside the clinic, he volunteers his time with local youth sports, school programs, and community events. He considers it a privilege to care for the animals and families of the Wenatchee Valley.
“In urgent care, every moment matters—and every patient deserves clarity, calm, and compassion.”
