Dr. Dane Collier

Dr. Dane Collier is a 2022 graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and began his veterinary career with Cascade Veterinary Clinics shortly thereafter. Before vet school, he earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and psychology from WSU Vancouver in 2016.

Born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley, Dr. Collier is proud to return to the community that shaped him. He values the trust clients place in him and believes that strong communication and empathy are essential to quality veterinary care.

In practice, Dr. Collier enjoys the variety and problem-solving nature of general practice, with a special interest in diagnostics and internal medicine. He particularly enjoys managing cases involving endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disease, and complex clinical presentations. His commitment to ongoing learning fuels his desire to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care.

Dr. Collier is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and is currently pursuing Fear Free Certification to further support low-stress patient handling. Within Cascade, he contributes to team development by mentoring veterinary assistants and collaborating closely with colleagues to improve medical outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Collier enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and their two dogs. Whether skiing, backpacking, hiking, or biking, he takes full advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

“Veterinary medicine is a balance of science, compassion, and partnership—every case is a chance to make a difference.”
